Joshua Green, M.D.

Dr. Green attended medical school at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, and completed his surgical and urologic training at the University of Miami. He has had an interest in infertility management and treatment since a young age. Dr. Green was initially trained in vasectomy reversal and microsurgery by Charles Lynne, M.D. and Lawrence Hakim, M.D. in Miami. He then went on to receive advanced training in microsurgery through the American Urologic Association in Houston.

While at the University of Miami, Dr. Green performed infertility research at the prestigious Miami Project to Cure Paralysis. His studies on the semen and sperm of spinal cord injured men were presented at the national meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.

Dr. Green is Board Certified by the American Urologic Association. Board Certification verifies that a urologic surgeon has completed rigorous training and testing. The requirements include the completion of an accredited residency program, and the passing of complex written and oral tests. Additionally, the surgeon must demonstrate skill in the performance of multiple different surgical procedures. Dr. Green is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and has been a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society since medical school.

Dr. Green accepts referrals from, and works exclusively with, Dr. Julio Pabon, MD at the Fertility Center and Applied Genetics of Florida.

Patricia Fox, RN, CNOR, CRNFA

Dr. Green's personal surgical assistant , Patricia Fox, is a registered nurse with 38 years of nursing experience, 28 of which have been in the operating room. She has assisted in over 1500 vasectomy reversals. Patricia is nationally certified for the operating room. She attended a formal program for RN First Assisting in 1994. She became nationally certified for first assisting in 1995, making her one of less than 1700 certified first assistants in the world. Qualifications include 2,000 hours of documented first-assisting and completion of a very rigid examination. She also holds certifications for BLS, ACLS, CO2 laser and YAG laser. Patricia belongs to the National Organization of operating room nurses and the Special Assembly of RN First Assistants.
